Timothy Frantzich <fran-zik>
The central theme in Timothy's work is COLLABORATION. Whether he is singing a solo concert and asking the whole room to sing together, whether he is driving the Mississippi River and writing songs with a gospel singer, whether he is leading his weekly Perfection-Free Song Circle, whether he is creating a show about space with an Astrophysicist... Timothy believes music has the special power of unifying.Timothy is a Minnesota based community builder, activist, songwriter and producer.
Timothy holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota in poetry and English Literature. He has spent his life working with people; he was a Waldorf grade school teacher for 8 years, he has worked in a shelter for abused and neglected children for 2 years, he has worked as a high school ski coach for 8 years, he has sung in Minnesota prisons many times, he has served on the board for Water Legacy in Minnesota, He has served on the board of Twin Cities Nonviolent, Timothy created an arts camp in Chengdu, China and more. All this has led to one realization, that music is a direct path to opening the human heart and an open heart influences the mind. This is how positive change begins and is supported.
